ABOUT THE DAY
The Mount Cotton one day Towing Training experience will be held on the 13th, 14th & 15th of November 2020. Isuzu UTE Australia are expanding on our existing successful I-Venture Club off-road programme to include towing focused introductory training courses. Whilst a number of our customers aspire to going off-road, the desire to hitch up a caravan, boat or horse float is also high.
As a result we have created this fundamental towing programme to give you the solid foundations of towing through a theoretical and practical experience in a safe controlled training environment. Mt Cotton Training Centre is situated approximately 35km southeast from Brisbane CBD and 60km from the Gold Coast. Mt Cotton Training Centre is an RACQ managed training centre with purpose built training facilities. This location offers the best conditions to test your D-MAX or MU-X’s on-road towing capabilities in a controlled purpose built environment.

THEORETICAL AND PRACTICALThe day will be made up of both essential towing theory and plenty of time behind the wheel hooked up to your tow device on the bitumen. At the start of the day, all drivers will attend a short presentation by our accredited trainer. Drivers will then be put to the test, gaining practical skills and a new level of confidence with their towing abilities.
This one day event is open to all Isuzu D-MAX or MU-X 4x4 or 4x2 owners within South East Queensland. Have you recently purchased your MU-X or D-MAX or have you taken the leap and purchased that caravan to do the big lap or your dream boat? If yes, this course will be perfect to get you started, setting you up with the fundamentals to tow correctly and giving you the confidence to Go Your Own Way.
The event fee covers two people, preferably both licenced drivers, and all participants are to be strictly 12 years or over to suit the event activities of the day.
Please note that you must bring your own towed item or hire one for the purpose of this training.
